There are a few things Milwaukeeans take very seriously; the Packers, the Bucks, the Brewers, beer, and fish fries. A cherished and ubiquitous Wisconsin tradition, Saz’s State House has made Fridays Fish Fryday since 1976!
Come in and enjoy hand-breaded Freshwater Lake Perch, beer-battered Flaky Miller High Life Beer Battered Atlantic Cod, Buttermilk Fried Shrimp, and Broiled Cod with lemon butter. All are served with salted cocktail rye bread, house coleslaw, tartar sauce, lemon wedge, and your choice of homemade German-style potato pancakes or our festival-famous sour cream & chive fries. Our full menu is also available for landlubbers (philistines) who don’t appreciate Wisconsin traditions as much as we do.
