Urban Om

Urban Om is the Milwaukee East Side’s newest yoga studio offering a variety of classes for students at all levels. The intention behind the studio is to create community and build a safe place to call home; a place where you can explore yourself, find your edge and break down boundaries without judgement or fear.

The roots of Milwaukee begin with the people who build themselves from the ground up, breathing creativity and inspiration down every street of this amazing urban center through small businesses and entrepreneurial explorations. The people make Milwaukee what it is: nothing short of miraculous. Those who know Milwaukee also know that it will always be home. The city we seek to build and rebuild ourselves; the city that will always reflect in our hearts with a sense of warmth and invitation. Urban Om seeks to provide this same fundamental Milwaukee-style home to build, break down and rebuild again as a community.

The Om symbol represents the interconnectedness within us all: the community within the heart and with each other. It is the universe’s circulatory system that runs between all things, all beings and all energies. As an image, it represents all that was, is or can be, the past, the present and the future.
