University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee GIS Day

GIS Day at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 is a part of a worldwide celebration of geographic information science, a process and technology designed to capture, store, manipulate, analyze, manage, and present all types of spatial or geographical data

Activities include concurrent hands-on workshops, presentations by area GIS professionals, and a luncheon with Melanie McCalmont, addressing “The Top Five Questions: GIS in College and Career Readiness”. All sessions are free, but registration is appreciated: gisday.uwm.edu.
