Victory Garden Initiative Open House

 

Victory Garden Initiative was established in 2009, since then we have grown as an organization and needed to find a place to formally operate from. We purchased a historiic building across the street from our 1.5 acre urban farm in the Harambee neighborhood. Over the past two years, this space has undergone amazing transformations and we worked to renovate it to serve as headquarters for our organization and a community gathering space. We’re so grateful for the outpouring of support we’ve received from the community to help make this dream come true and we want to share this new space with you!

Join us on Friday, March 6th from 4-7pm at our Open House to see the completed space! We’ll be open for tours with many of our staff, board members, and long-time volunteers on hand to talk about the space and programs we will be running here. Enjoy some light refreshments and snacks as you see the space and mingle with other good food community supporters. Remarks take place at 6pm.
