Traveling Beer Garden at McCarty Park

Join us for the eighth season of the Milwaukee County Parks Traveling Beer Gardens! Two restored fire trucks, converted and equipped with tap handles, visit five parks each, on two simultaneously running tours from mid-May through Labor Day. Parks on the tours offer widely spaced tables for a physically distanced beer-garden setting. The event is offered through the partnership of the Parks and Sprecher Brewing Co.

The beer-garden menu supports local producers. Highlighted are Sprecher’s craft brews, hard sodas, and root beer; Klement’s bratwurst and sausages; giant-sized pretzels from Milwaukee Pretzel Co.; and empanadas from Triciclo Peru.

Beer gardens follow COVID-19 precautions. Only single-serve cups are used. (Please leave your favorite stein at home.) Patrons should only use tables that are clean, as indicated by a green brick (green = clean). Wearing masks is encouraged when patrons are not eating or drinking. Patrons should stay 6 feet away from people not from their household. Additional safety measures are found on the Traveling Beer Gardens website.
