Learn the tricks to making your very own delicious pies with expert baking team of the Honeypie Bakeshop. Held inside our bakeshop kitchen at our sister cafe, Palomino, these hands-on classes will guide you through a variety of different aspects of pie making and give you a peek into the life of a bakeshop. In each class you will bake your own treats to take home. There will be lots of room for questions and answers during each class so come with all of your crust conundrums and filling inquiries . Classes are approximately 2.5 hours and are limited to 12 people. Class requires that you stand most of the time and work at a table in a working professional kitchen. If you need an accommodation or different arrangement to participate in class, please reach out and we will do our best! Please wear non-slip, closed-toe shoes.
This workshop is a hands-on lesson in baking and working with pie crust to create beautiful pie decoration. Lead by Lead Baker, Brooke Ogierman, you will learn the tips to designing, preparing and using pie dough to make beautiful, deocrative pie tops. Each class participant will make and decorate one 9″ pie. All tools and ingredients for your pie are provided.
Tickets for class also includes recipes with tips and tricks and a drink ticket for the bar.
Please note, we often have long wait lists for our pie classes. Tickets to class are non-refundable if you cancel without more than 72 hours notice. If you need to cancel within 72 hours of class, you are welcome to email us, and we will offer your spot to a person on the waiting list. If it is taken by someone waiting, we will refund your ticket. You are also welcome to give your ticket to a friend and they can attend in your place.
