Spring Break Camps 2013

 

Put away your backpack and notebooks for a week and join us at Discovery World for a week on non-stop, action-packed FUN!

The week will be filled with activities, challenges, tours, projects, experiments, and FUN! The Biology Lab, Kohl’s Design It! Lab, Electronics Lab, STEM+ Lab, and THIRST Lab will be open elusively for you!

Here’s How The Week Will Work:

3rd-5th Grade Students can sign up for the "Creator Camp" and 6th-8th Grade Students can sign up for the "Innovator Camp". In both camps, students will get to venture through all of Discovery World’s labs and experience all the topics listed, plus more! We will take a break for lunch each day and provide a snack for the students during midafternoon. The day will be fast-paced, fun, and exciting! After all, it’s a Spring Break and we want  to make sure the students have a blast!

Check out the list below to see things you will do within just one week at Discovery World:

– Build roller coasters and learn about physics

– Explore Nikola Tesla’s electrifying inventions

– Design and make your own wallets, backpacks, bags, headphones, sunglasses, and hats.

– Explore the Reiman Aquarium and the fish of Lake Michigan

– Make fizzy drinks in the Water Chemistry Lab

– Explore how use heat sealers, vacuum formers, and needle and thread to create products to take home

-Touch marine life and learn their cool adapatations

– Launch catapults and rockets
