La Ceiba Grafica

 

La Ceiba: a portfolio of 40-50 contemporary lithographs curated by Per Andersen and Martin Vinaver of La Ceiba Grafica, a top-ranking printmaking workshop located in Veracruz, Mexico whose mission supports the need for artistic creation regardless of an individual’s social condition. This exhibition coincides with the SGC International Conference in Milwaukee, and the largest printmakers association in North America bringing up to 2,000 delegates from all 50 states and across the world to Milwaukee. WPCA working with Raoul Deal of UW-Milwaukee’s Peck School of the Arts and the conference hosts, Peck School of the Arts and Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, will present this exhibit which lends itself to an abundance of informational tours and youth art workshops.
