The Krause Family Band is an Americana/Roots ensemble known for its organic sound and close family harmonies. In addition to covering songs by artists ranging from The Mills Brothers to Tom Waits, they were named Madison Magazine’s Best of Madison 2019 in the Singer/Songwriter category for their heartfelt originals. Rick Krause fronts the band on vocals, guitar, harmonica, and banjo with daughters Katie (vocals) and Ruthie (fiddle, viola, vocals) creating the family core of the band. Scott Wright’s tasteful piano and Craig Radi’s bass layer rhythm and texture to complete their unique sound.
