Keep the Home Fires Burning

 

This concert surveys the music that accompanied and inspired the men and women who lived and fought during World War I. Bel Canto will perform music that sustained and consoled the troops as they lived and died in the trenches. The concert will culminate in a performance of Ralph Vaughan Williams’ epic plea for peace, Dona Nobis Pacem.  Special guest and friend of Bel Canto Chorus, Mary Alice Tierney, will narrate the program. Concert Run Time:
2 hours (approximate) including intermission.
