Diaper Drive with Milwaukee Diaper Mission

 

Family has always been an important part of who we are. Not only have we welcomed countless families through our doors every year, but Lakefront has supported many of its employees in growing their own families. When we heard that 1 in 3 families in the U.S. lack the funds to keep up with their diaper needs, it felt like a no brainer to begin looking at ways we can help on a local level. As the Mission puts it, diapers are a necessity, not a luxury.

Join us from 11AM to 5PM on Sunday, January 22nd with as many unopened, fully packaged, disposable diapers you are able to donate! For your donation, we will hand over a Lakefront gift card loaded with cash to spend in the Beer Hall that day or any day in the future. We will give $.25 (25 cents) per diaper with no limit to the amount you can donate.

All diapers will be donated to the Milwaukee Diaper Mission who utilizes an efficient and cost-effective distribution model to ensure they get into the hands of the families that need them most. This could be through food pantries, home visiting agencies, mutual aid groups, as well as organizations that support families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
