Behind the Scenes Tour at the Tempel Lipizzans

 

Tempel Lipizzans is breeding, training and exhibition facility in Northern Illinois where the rare and noble Lipizzan horses can be found. 30 stallions are in full classical dressage training year-round in preparation for public exhibitions in the summer season.

Visitors will experience a living art museum and learn about the history of the breed, this herd of Lipizzans and the training style. The tour begins in the stallion stables and ends in the indoor arena to observe training.

Tour takes place out of the elements and on level ground, but we still recommend a heavy coat (in cold weather) and good walking shoes.

All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
