Bean Plant Block Party

 

Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. in Walker’s Point will host its first annual Bean Plant Block Party on Sunday, September 25 from 2 – 6 p.m.

The event will take place outside on Bruce St. between 2nd and 3rd street and will feature skateboard ramps and obstacles provided by Sky High, food from Tots on the Street, beer from Low Daily, live music, local makers and more!

The event is free and open to the public, and skaters of all skill levels are encouraged to participate!

“It’s fun to bring the skate community together, especially at a unique location like Anodyne,” says Sean Hanley, Anodyne production team member and event co-organizer.

Anodyne Coffee will stay open late until 6 p.m. to serve their full espresso bar and seasonal specials.

Live Music will take place from 4 – 6 p.m. and will highlight three bands, each featuring Anodyne staff in the lineup: Fake Twin, Overhand and Piles.

“With Clock Shadow Creamery’s Squeak Fest going on around the corner and Doors Open taking place all weekend, we’re looking forward to a busy day in the neighborhood,” says Event Director Erica Karls.

The Anodyne crew plans to make live Packer game announcements throughout the day, and Indeed Brewery will be broadcasting the game if you need a visual check in.
