    Comment on Facebook

Designed by prominent Milwaukee architect Alexander Eschweiler and on the National Register of Historic Places, the lavish 1911 home of Charles and Sarah Allis contains a world-class art collection that spans more than 2,000 years and includes impressive 19th Century French and American paintings, Classic antiquities, Renaissance bronzes, Asian ceramics, stunning decorative arts, period furniture and home furnishings. The Margaret Rahill Great Hall was added in 1997 expanding the number of meetings, events, weddings, and festivities that can be held each year. Changing exhibitions feature local and regional artists, making the museum a vibrant center for Wisconsin arts.
