    Singer and storyteller Adekola Adedapo will perform a program of Yoruban drum and chant. This "Music for the Spirit" performance is part of conclusion of the Festival of Trees & Music, an 11-day holiday celebration of live music and decorated trees.

    The Festival features dozens of live performances by hundreds of students, popular musicians and singers, surrounded by elaborately decorated holiday trees that will be raffled off when the festival closes. The festivities take place at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music's historic McIntosh-Goodrich Mansion, 1584 N. Prospect Ave., near downtown Milwaukee. The mansion will be decorated in elegant holiday style with lights, the sparkling trees, and other holiday items.

    Admission is a suggested donation of $10 for adults, $5 for children. Free parking is available at 1684 N. Prospect (Milwaukee Eye Associates). Hours for the festival will be 5-9 p.m. weeknights, 1-9 p.m. Saturdays, and 2-7 p.m. Sundays, running daily through Sunday, November 24.
